See It Forward 5K FAQs
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH MY REGISTRATION?
With your registration, you will receive chip timed race participation, a finisher’s medal and a signature See It Forward t-shirt!
You can pick up your packet on the day of the race on May 20st at 8AM.
WHERE DOES MY REGISTRATION FEE GO?
100% of the proceeds from the See It Forward 5K go to the Chu Vision Foundation. Chu Vision Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on diagnosing and treating preventable blindness in underserved communities locally and globally.
DO I HAVE TO BE A RUNNER TO PARTICIPATE?
No! The See It Forward 5K is for all ages and abilities. Come run, jog, walk, or skip your way to the finish line!
CAN CHILDREN PARTICIPATE?
Of course! We have a .5-mile kids fun run starting at 8:30 a.m. on May 20st! Your child will also receive a signature See It Forward 5K t-shirt and their own finishers medal!
For very young children or infants, the course is stroller friendly
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
The See It Forward 5K will continue rain or shine! If severe weather occurs, please monitor the Chu Vision Facebook page and the See It Forward 5K website for updates.
IS THERE A PLACE TO PUT MY THINGS BEFORE THE RACE?
There is not a drop off location for your personal items at the See It Forward 5K. Please only bring what you plan to carry with you during the race.

WHEN IS THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE?
You can register online until the day of the event, and you can even register the morning of the See It Forward 5K at Normandale Park! If you register after April 30th, we cannot guarantee to have your t-shirt size available.
WHERE CAN I FIND PHOTOS FROM RACE DAY?
We will have a photographer the day of the race, taking photos of participants during the race and after at our photo booth! All photos will be sent to you in an e-mail following the event.
