Itandewhy was a recipient of charitable surgery from Dr. Chu through the Operation Sight Foundation. She was diagnosed with Keratoconus, a progressive condition of the cornea which causes the front surface of the eye to become shaped like a cone, distorting vision and thinning the cornea.
