Dr. Jack LaMoine brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to eye care at Chu Vision Institute. Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Dr. LaMoine earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Pre-Health from the University of North Dakota before continuing his education at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.

Following optometry school, Dr. LaMoine completed a year-long residency in Denver, Colorado, where he received advanced training in ocular disease, refractive surgery, and pre- and post-operative cataract management. This experience deepened his commitment to providing comprehensive care that blends clinical expertise with genuine compassion.

Dr. LaMoine is passionate about tailoring care to each individual’s unique needs and takes pride in guiding patients toward their personal visual goals. He enjoys incorporating the latest technologies to enhance outcomes and loves getting to know his patients beyond their eyes, building meaningful relationships rooted in trust and understanding.

Balancing Care with Adventure

Outside of the clinic, Dr. LaMoine enjoys spending time with his fiancée at the lake, on the golf course, or exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping in the summer. When winter arrives, they love heading to the mountains to ski and enjoy the snow together.
