Optometrist

Chu Vision Institute is seeking a talented residency-trained optometrist to join a busy nationally recognized leader in cataract and refractive surgery.  The practice has an active clinical research Center of Excellence and has participated in over 100 FDA clinical trials. Chu Vision Institute is a privately-owned group of well-established eye care professionals working collaboratively to provide specialty services to the Twin Cities area.  This team, together with qualified staff, plays an important role in the community by providing necessary care and coordination with its medical care team partners.

This position offers a unique practice opportunity to participate in managing care for pre and post-operative cataract and refractive surgery patients.  Applicants must have an active Minnesota license.  Completion of a residency program and prior experience is preferred, but not required. Registered Nurse (RN)

Chu Vision Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse for a multi-dimensional position at our Bloomington office. Chu Vision Institute is a premier Ophthalmology office focused on providing excellent care through a highly personalized experience. Our Nurses are responsible for educating our patients and providing personalized care to each patient.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Pre and Post-operative duties in adjacent ASC
  • Clinical Coordination and support
  • Patient Education
  • Triage

Requirements

  • Licensure: RN (BSN preferred)
  • BLS
  • ACLS (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ophthalmology experience is desired but not required.

The practice features an on-site ASC with the femtosecond laser, refractive laser center, and state-of-the-art diagnostic technology.

Patient Experience Coordinator and Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a full-time Patient Experience Coordinator/Medical Receptionist for our Bloomington office. As the first impression of our clinic, this individual is warm, friendly, and professional and is dedicated to providing excellent patient care over the phone and in person. Responsibilities for this position include greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering a multi-line phone system, collecting and entering patient information, scanning medical records, and administrative support. Candidates should possess the ability to work as part of a team with great attention to detail, computer competency, and strong communication skills. A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is required, prior medical experience is a plus.
