Ryan loves skydiving! But he did not love worrying about contacts or glasses while flying through the air. Now he doesn’t have to worry about that, and he can clearly see the world around him! Ryan is also getting married in the spring and won’t have to worry about glasses on his special day because of his LASIK procedure.

my name is ryan egstahl and I absolutely love skydiving [Intense Music]
this is the beginning of my fifth year of skydiving i met my fiancé there and uh since then we just started hanging out talking and that was the that’s when our friendship started and then it just kind of grew out of that as i started doing that i met my fiancé’s dad who was the instructor at the time learning from him was very easy we’re about the same build so it was even easier to learn how to fly my body out of the plane different things there i’ve always had glasses probably since third or fourth grade i didn’t know i needed them until i couldn’t hit the baseball anymore my mom said you gotta get checked so i got glasses and in high school i got contacts and when i started wearing contacts went through a lot of phases of hard contacts bad contacts soft contacts because you never want to take them out because you want to see all the time i heard Chu was great at Lasik my fiancé got it first saw the results of her going through within hours you could see and within days it was perfect i mean it was almost instantaneous so everything she does it doesn’t matter she’s seeing 20/20 if not better i had my glasses on and she was making fun of me because she can see and i can’t so i’m just looking forward to just having normal eyesight without having to work for it

all right blink for me blink again hold wide one this one here is actually reading the prescription from the front surface of your eye cool it’s funny because the it gets blurry then it gets clearer yeah so it’s kind of focused and that’s where i kind of told you how this here is number one number two one or two two you’ve been consistent across this whole thing which is crazy i know which is good it’s super good it’s weird because i wore my contacts for a little bit you know just when i go skydiving stuff right i’m like i don’t want to alter anything so i’m gonna hurry up and take them i’ll put my glasses back on

amazing really it looks awesome cool super super good cool so yeah you’re in great shape Chu vision i couldn’t i wouldn’t go anywhere else and i’m not just saying that i’m just hands down i come in here there’s no like i said there’s no questions it’s very fluid they’re already on top of everything do this do that you’re always busy doing something and if you’re not it’s this minimum wait and top-notch technology that’s being used so you don’t feel like any of the results are under par and therefore surgery and everything feels even better to do because you’re not nervous like you know you go to some places and you might be a little sketched out this is no there’s no gray areas if you’re on top of things or doing the right thing the other amazing thing about having LASIK is the fact that i don’t have to worry about losing my glasses anymore or affording you know a 300 400 pair i mean even on the cheap side they’re still minimum two 250 or you know and when you put in a contact and you rip them you don’t have to worry about oh now i don’t have a set and throw away the whole set just keep on the sets that you have so that’s the other remarkable thing i don’t have to ever worry about anymore
