Joel Herz, radio DJ, got LASIK with Dr. Chu, and now he doesn’t have to worry about his eyes drying out during his long days in front of screens

hi I’m Joel herz and I work at iheart media here in Minneapolis I do afternoons on alt 9033 I produce commercials and then I sit in here by myself and think of funny things to say in between songs which sounds way easier than it really is cuz I’m not that funny I got LASIK and it was just super simple you guys just took a bunch of pictures of my eyes and were like cool you’re an awesome candidate and I said I know I am thank you and then just like a week later all of a sudden it was done it was it was just so fast yeah LASIK really kind of blew me away at how fast it was and I had daily contacts so at no point am i wishing it’s like I wish I had a second pair of contacts to put in or if I could just be like put new ones and it’s just I don’t have to deal with that anymore it’s just like all day I don’t have to worry about whether one of my contacts is gonna fall out or get too dry or anything like that well yeah I definitely look at a screen all day and then you know I’m like four or five o’clock you’d start to get that and you know god forbid we have an event or a concert to go to and so I’d go to a concert and I just be doing this like over and over and over and over again just feel like doing that trying to wink them back into place or whatever and I did it’s just one thing I don’t have to do yeah bad gosh so so annoys you vision has been great everyone’s been super nice and I’ve like gone back for like my routine checkups and was like oh hey Joel how are you and I don’t know just like genuinely excited to see me because I think people actually genuinely care I think you get into a field like this because you want to help people and you want to improve their lives and I think that really just kind of shows through with the people that I’ve worked with every step of the way a Chu vision doctor chu is a super cool super relaxing guy so just have him to be like okay and then we’re gonna do this and then and alright that’s done and we’re gonna move on here it’s like I was like watching Bob Rost do Bob Ross except dr. Chu’s working with eyes and not you know beautiful landscapes it it was an easy decision for me but it’s just it was so unbelievably fast and I can like just see as soon as I wake up it’s great
