Dr. Hosam Hassan is a highly trained and skilled optometrist. Born and raised in Minneapolis, MN, Dr. Hassan developed his desire to pursue optometry early in life after experiencing firsthand how crucial healthy eyesight and proper eye care are to a person’s quality of life.
An avid supporter of local Minnesota sports, Dr. Hassan also loves hiking and spending quality time with his family when he’s not helping his patients improve their vision and protect the health of their eyes.
Dr. Hassan received his Doctorate of Optometry at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA.
He completed several internships at practices across the country, acquiring valuable skills and experience. These include VA Tallahassee Outpatient Clinic, Tallahassee, FL, Open Cities Community Health Center, St. Paul, MN, and Providence Community Health Center, Providence, RI.
Dr. Hassan also received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.
As a trained doctor of optometry, Dr. Hassan’s areas of expertise include comprehensive medical care of the eyes, vision, and eyesight. This includes preventing, diagnosing, and treating vision problems along with ocular diseases and conditions of the eyes like cataracts and glaucoma. Dr. Hassan performs primary care exams in addition to managing preoperative and postoperative care.
