    Chu Vision Institute is seeking a world-class corneal fellowship trained surgeon to join a high volume consultative cataract, refractive, cornea, and anterior segment surgical practice.

    The practice has a certified EMR and is led by an ASOA certified, long-term administrator as well as an excellent management team.  The practice features an on-site ASC with femtosecond laser, refractive laser center, and state-of-the-art diagnostic technology.  The practice has an active clinical research Center of Excellence and has participated in over 80 FDA clinical trials.  We are seeking a person who is a motivated practice builder to join our growing team.  Partnership opportunity available

  • Optometrist

    We are currently seeking a part time optometrist to join our team at our Bloomington office.

    Ideal candidate will be personable, energetic and willing to work closely with the surgeon to manage pre- and post-operative cataract and refractive surgery patients. Requirements include a current MN license, completion of a surgical residency program with five years of clinical medical experience involving surgical co-management. Excellent communication skills and strong customer service acumen are a must. Competitive compensation and benefits package available.

  • Registered Nurse

    We are currently seeking an Registered Nurse for a part-time or per diem position in our accredited ambulatory surgery center.  Duties include patient counseling, pre-op, and post-op. Experience desired but will train the right candidate.

This dynamic individual will lead and motivate others to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction while delivering high quality patient care, provide patients and their family a 5 star experience, and act as liaison with the front desk, patient counselors, nurses and clinic. Responsibilities also include patient education and building word-of-mouth referrals and social media presence through interpersonal connections with patients. Will assist patients with in-office electronic registration and portal process.  Must also possess an excellent understanding and competency in front office operations including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and financial counseling.  BA/BS strongly preferred. 2 or more years in sales/customer service and management. Position is full time.

As the first impression of our clinic, this individual is warm, friendly and professional and is dedicated to providing excellent patient care over the phone and in person. Responsibilities for this position include greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering a multi-line phone system, collecting and entering patient information, scanning medical records and administrative support.

    Candidates should possess the ability to work as part of a team with great attention to detail, computer competency and strong communication skills. A minimum of 1 year customer service experience is required, prior medical experience is a plus.

    We are seeking a full time ophthalmic technician/Assistant. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, friendly, team-oriented and must be able to efficiently work in a fast paced environment.  Responsibilities for this position include patient education, patient work up, assisting physicians during the exam and various testing procedures. 

    This position requires the ability to work as part of a team, strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ophthalmology experience preferred but will train the right person.

The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and follow-up skills, is detail oriented and enjoys working as part of a team. Responsibilities include preparing insurance claims and filing, insurance aging, prior approval and benefits verification, posting procedures and diagnosis codes in our practice management system, processing statements and posting payments.

    This position requires demonstrable experience in payer reimbursement and coding, computer and billing systems, and proficiency in health insurance identification and verification. 2+ years experience in a medical business office, coding, collections, posting payments, prior authorizations and benefits verification is required.
