Tecnis Multifocal IOL
The Tecnis® Multifocal intraocular lens (IOL) is designed to provide patients with a range of focus at near and far to lessen spectacle dependence following cataract surgery. The Tecnis Multifocal lens was designed with patented optics and materials to provide high-quality vision even in low-light conditions. Some lenses lose the ability to provide good vision, particularly up close, as light is reduced.
Immediately after surgery, some patients may notice rings around lights when driving at night. Generally the eye adjusts to the lens over time and the visual impressions of rings typically lessens or goes away.
