In addition to financing possibilities, consider asking your employer if you are eligible to establish or have access to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA). If you are self-employed, ask your tax person about the advantages of establishing a Medical Savings Account (MSA). You may be eligible to deposit tax-deductible funds into an account that you can use to cover medical costs, such as eye care procedures.
